Softball Recap: Wingate Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thoreau on Thursday, Wingate came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Hawks on Thursday, falling 13-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered since April 23, 2024.

Wingate has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Thoreau, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.

As of now, neither Wingate nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
