Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City Honors). Everything went their way against the Olmsted Owls on Saturday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Centaurs, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.

Julius Petti was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lev Schneiderman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Will Leichtnam was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

City Honors kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.

City Honors pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Olmsted, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

City Honors wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-1 win against International Prep at Grover on the 12th. As for Olmsted, they will face off against Middle Early College at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
