Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City Honors). Everything went their way against the Olmsted Owls on Saturday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Centaurs, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Julius Petti was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lev Schneiderman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Will Leichtnam was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
