Softball Recap: Lehman Comes Up Short

Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Liberty Hill Panthers, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15-1. As for Liberty Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lehman will face off against rival Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Hays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
