Football Recap: West Jessamine Falls to Bourbon County in First Game of Season

West Jessamine kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Bourbon County Colonels by a score of 30-28. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Jessamine will square off against Wayne County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bourbon County, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Casey County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
