Basketball Game Preview: Thornton Trojans vs. Jefferson Academy Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the Thornton Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Jefferson Academy Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Thornton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Thursday, Thornton made easy work of Gateway and carried off an 81-55 win.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Jefferson Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a hard 79-61 fall against The Academy.

Thornton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Jefferson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
