Football Recap: Brystal Albright Leads Centennial's Defense on Monday

Centennial and Norco pushed the score to 48-19 the last time they played Norco, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Huskies came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 18-6. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Albright, Alyssa Maldonado, Lola Montanez, and Dominique Adams picked up one apiece. Albright is crushing it when it comes to interceptions: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Centennial now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Norco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
