Thornton Academy has gone 8-2 against Noble recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Thornton Academy Trojans will host the Noble Knights at 6:15 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Thornton Academy and 26 for Noble dating back to last season.

On Monday, Thornton Academy came up short against Gorham and fell 46-38. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Rams are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Noble was beaten by Gorham 53-14 on Friday.

Noble's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Thornton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Thornton Academy against Noble in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 78-18 victory. Will Thornton Academy repeat their success, or does Noble have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
