Softball Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Falls Short of Everett Alvarez in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Ignatius College Preparatory can now relate to. They came up short against the Everett Alvarez Eagles on Saturday, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Dollard, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Everett Alvarez, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-11.

As of now, neither St. Ignatius College Preparatory nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
