Volleyball Recap: Otay Ranch Find Success

Otay Ranch saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Orange Glen Patriots by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Otay Ranch can attribute much of their success to Gavin Cosico, who had 16 digs and two aces. Cosico is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 16 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Sean Lee also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Otay Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Orange Glen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Otay Ranch has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mar Vista on the 18th. As for Orange Glen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against High Tech SD on the 18th.
