Volleyball Recap: West Point-Beemer's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

West Point-Beemer had to endure an eight-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Douglas County West Falcon on Tuesday. For the Cadets, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Falcon walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

West Point-Beemer never let Douglas County West on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Adara Weborg, who had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

West Point-Beemer's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Douglas County West, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Coincidentally, West Point-Beemer and Douglas County West will both be playing Oakland-Craig the next time they take the court. The Falcon will host the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cadets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
