After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cair Paravel, Marais des Cygnes Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Peabody-Burns Warriors by a score of 77-69. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Peabody-Burns saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jameson Miles dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. The matchup was Miles' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Philpott, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 17 points.

Marais des Cygnes Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-10-3. As for Peabody-Burns, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
