Volleyball Game Preview: Arcadia Apaches vs. Crescenta Valley Falcons

The Arcadia Apaches will venture away from home to face off against the Crescenta Valley Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arcadia took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Burbank. The victory continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Crescenta Valley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. They blew past Pasadena 3-0.

Crescenta Valley was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Arcadia's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3. As for Crescenta Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
