Math Science & Engineering entered their tilt with Manhattan Center for Science & Math on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 20-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 30-10 back in March.

Abigayle Yang made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Yang was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Annalie Merkel was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Greer Silberbush was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Math Science & Engineering was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Math Science & Engineering's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Math Science & Engineering will venture away from home to take on Randolph Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, they will head out to square off against Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
