Football Game Preview: Bath County vs. West Carter

Bath County will challenge West Carter on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Bath County don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Bath County won against Estill County two weeks ago with 47 points, and Bath County decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Everything went Bath County's way against Pendleton County as they made off with a 47-14 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.

Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their contest, West Carter were humbled. They were completely outmatched, falling 14-49 to Russell. West Carter were down by 14-49 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The last time the two teams met, Bath County came out on top in a nail-biter against West Carter, sneaking past 24-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bath County since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
