Basketball Recap: Monument Mountain Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Monument Mountain had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Cathedral Panthers 74-60 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Monument Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Coming up, Monument Mountain will challenge Cohasset at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monument Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matches -- so hopefully Cohasset likes a good challenge. Cathedral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
