Basketball Recap: Naima Hogue Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Chicago Christian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Tinley Park Titans by a score of 42-31. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chicago Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Naima Hogue, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Hogue has become a key player for Chicago Christian: the team is undefeated when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 13-14 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Sydney Harris, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards.

Chicago Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Chicago Christian's record is now 16-14. As for Tinley Park, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-20.
