Football Game Preview: Oak Ridge Wildcats vs. Bearden Bulldogs

Oak Ridge hasn't had much luck against Bearden recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Oak Ridge is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Oak Ridge proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 28) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Bradley Central 10-7. The ten-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Damillyan Porter had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 103 yards, while also picking up 36 receiving yards. Oak Ridge also relied on Porter, who's 45-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.

Meanwhile, Bearden scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 25-21 to Farragut.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oak Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
