Catholic extended their postseason success on Thursday against Brother Martin. They never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Not much got past Bennett Smith, who gave up just four hits to keep Brother Martin off the board. Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Catholic's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Harrison Kidder, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Catholic's win bumped their record up to 37-5. As for Brother Martin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 32-9 record this season.
