Brady had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 72-67 W over the Early Longhorns. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 61-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brady can attribute much of their success to Demarcus Reed, who posted 33 points. Blane James was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Despite the loss, Early still got an impressive performance from Braiden Brown, who put up 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Reedy, who scored 11 points.

Looking ahead, Brady will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Comanche at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Early, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
