Biddeford and Noble are an even 4-4 against one another since June of 2015, but likely not for long. The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Biddeford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Thornton Academy, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Biddeford was ranked 22nd). The Tigers lost 14-2 to the Trojans on Monday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Biddeford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Noble fell victim to Scarborough and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Red Storm, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since April 29th.

Biddeford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Noble, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Biddeford might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Noble in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
