After a string of four wins, Fairfield Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Madison Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Fairfield Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 25-11.

Despite the loss, Fairfield Christian Academy had strong showings from Nakayla Cash, who had 19 digs and two aces, and Candice Welsh, who had 16 assists and eight digs. Welsh is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Fairfield Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Madison Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
