Softball Game Preview: Conrad Science Red Wolves vs. Wilmington Charter Force

The Conrad Science Red Wolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Wilmington Charter Force at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Conrad Science will be strutting in after a victory while Wilmington Charter will be coming in after a defeat.

Conrad Science is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: St. Georges Tech, who was ranked 12th at the time (Conrad Science was ranked 19th). The Red Wolves blew past the Hawks 9-3 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Wilmington Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-3 to Middletown.

Conrad Science now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Wilmington Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Conrad Science came out on top in a nail-biter against Wilmington Charter when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
