Basketball Recap: Fargo South Takes a Loss

Fargo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 76-38 loss at the hands of Horace. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Horace are ranked fifth).

Fargo South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Horace, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Fargo South will square off against Sheyenne at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sheyenne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Horace, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fargo North at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Fargo North: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Horace has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
