Football Recap: Penn-Trafford Comes Up Short

Penn-Trafford played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-21 loss at the hands of the Woodland Hills Wolverines. The Warriors were down 42-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Penn-Trafford still got an impressive performance from Cody Yacamelli, who rushed for 145 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Penn-Trafford fell to 3-1. As for Woodland Hills, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn-Trafford will welcome Kiski Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Woodland Hills, they will be playing at home against Shaler Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
