Byron won the last time they faced Genesee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Byron Eagles came out on top against the Genesee Wolves by a score of 50-39. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Despite the loss, Genesee still got an impressive performance from Brandon Rouse, who posted eight points and six steals. With that strong performance, Rouse is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Qusai Bannoura, who put up eight points and 13 boards.

The win made it two in a row for Byron and bumps their season record up to 5-15. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Genesee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-19.
