Cloverleaf won the last time they faced Woodridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colts put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cloverleaf took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Marlo Downing paced Cloverleaf's offense, picking up 15 kills. Downing got some help from Madi Young and her 33 assists. Downing was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Woodridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lydia Thomas had ten digs.

Cloverleaf's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Woodridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Cloverleaf has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Streetsboro on the 9th. As for Woodridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Springfield on the 9th.
