Basketball Recap: Cameron Brower's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Farmington over Fremont

Farmington was the 61-51 winner over Fremont when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Farmington Phoenix fell 50-38 to the Fremont Silverwolves on Tuesday. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Farmington lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cameron Brower, who posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Malakai Tobler, who earned eight points and six assists.

Leading Fremont to victory were Cam Campbell and Easton Duft. Campbell dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Duft went 8 for 14 en route to 18 points. Dylan Bruce was another key player, putting up five points.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Fremont, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will square off against Layton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Farmington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. As for Fremont, they will face off against Weber at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weber knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully Fremont likes a good challenge.
