Pope John Paul II extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 14-2 in the process. Everything went their way against the Norristown Eagles as they made off with an 8-2 win. Pope John Paul II might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Jimmy Kenning was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Dyaln Flexk also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Pope John Paul II was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norristown only posted a batting average of .222.

As for Norristown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Pope John Paul II: they've now lost six in a row.
