Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (70), Madisonville-North Hopkins still had to take the loss.
It was another big night for Austin Sperry, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 12 rebounds for Breathitt County. The match was Sperry's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braxton Terry, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Madisonville-North Hopkins and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Breathitt County, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
