Baseball Game Preview: Aurora Greenmen vs. Tallmadge Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Aurora will face off against Tallmadge. The Greenmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aurora is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Aurora turned things around against Tallmadge on Monday. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 9-4.

Gabe Cooch looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carson Smith was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Tommy Tartabini was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three RBI.

Tallmadge is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10. As for Aurora, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
