Softball Recap: Mountain View Christian Takes a Loss

Mountain View Christian lost against Indian Springs back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Saints lost 24-12 to the Thunderbirds. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View Christian got a massive performance out of Cristina Arriaga, who got on base in four of her seven plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Arriaga continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Ariadna Carranza was another key player, getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Mountain View Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Indian Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Indian Springs beat Mountain View Christian by a score of 18-2 later that day.
