Narragansett Regional is 9-1 against Murdock since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will face off against the Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. Narragansett Regional is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
Narragansett Regional not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024 (when they won 14-1). They put the hurt on Quabbin Regional with a sharp 14-2 win. The Warriors have beaten the Panthers the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.
Cassidy Paridis made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Paridis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Manca, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Sam Boumil was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Murdock lost 20-4 to Montachusett RVT on Tuesday.
Madelyn Santos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Kylieann Brown also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Murdock's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Narragansett Regional, their record now sits at 12-5.
Murdock's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Narragansett Regional hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339. It's a different story for Murdock, though, as they've only averaged .213. Will they be able to contain Narragansett Regional's hitters?
Narragansett Regional took their victory against Murdock when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 10-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
