Soccer Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville lost against Benton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ironmen fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Danville seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Danville now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Benton, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1-1.

Looking ahead, Danville will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Bloomsburg at 11:00 a.m. Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
