Munford extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tay Starks. The Cougars took down the Woodford County Yellowjackets 49-35 on Friday for which the team can thank Starks, who rushed for 307 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 95 yards and one TD. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last ten times he's played.

Munford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bricen Turnage and Qua Bell.

Munford's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Woodford County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Munford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 51-28 win against Haywood on the 19th. As for Woodford County, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-17 victory against Heritage on the 19th.
