Baseball Recap: Cheney Tech Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cheney Tech can now relate to. They lost 13-6 to the Windsor Warriors on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered since April 19th.

Cheney Tech got a big performance out of Davion Reed, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Malik Mendez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Cheney Tech has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Windsor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5-1 record this season.

While Cheney Tech had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
