Creekside Christian Academy and Konos Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2021, but not for long. The Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Condor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Creekside Christian Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mount de Sales Academy just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-2.
Creekside Christian Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (100-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 12-25, 15-25, 15-10.

Creekside Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Morgan Starr, who had 29 digs and one assist, and Katelynn Rossiter, who had 31 assists and nine digs. Rossiter is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Gerak, who had eight digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, Konos Academy came up short against New Creation Christian Academy on Monday and fell 3-1. While the Condor didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 25-16 in the first set.
Konos Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 26-24, 25-18.
Creekside Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Konos Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
Creekside Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Konos Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
