It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Merritt can now relate to. They were dealt a 66-33 loss at the hands of the Dale Pirates on Thursday. The Oilers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Merritt's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Dale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 24 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-2 record this season.
