Baseball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

Glasgow fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Larue County on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Glasgow saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Gumm, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Glasgow's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Larue County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2-1.

Coming up, Glasgow will be playing at home against Taylor County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Larue County, they will square off against North Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
