Volleyball Recap: Etiwanda Takes a Loss

Etiwanda saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Redwood Giants by a score of 2-1.

Lauren Furnald paced Etiwanda's offense, picking up 12 kills. Furnald got some help from Meaalofa Tauaese and her 12 assists. Furnald was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Etiwanda has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Redwood, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Etiwanda has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Woodrow Wilson on the 20th. As for Redwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Kamehameha Hawai'i on the 20th.
