Soccer Game Preview: West Lincoln vs. West Caldwell

The West Lincoln Rebels are taking a road trip to square off against the West Caldwell Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Lincoln is headed into Monday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They came up short against Newton-Conover on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, West Caldwell has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-2 to Lincolnton on Thursday.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for West Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15-2.

West Lincoln beat West Caldwell 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
