Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Takes a Loss

Lincoln Park Academy fell victim to Vero Beach and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 10-0. The Greyhounds' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Lincoln Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Vero Beach, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park Academy will face off against Sebastian River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vero Beach, they will square off against Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jupiter will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Vero Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
