Gage Pohlman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Batesville over Franklin County

While Batesville might've come up empty on Friday, Gage Pohlman wasn't going down without a fight. Pohlman was dynamite, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. He has become a key player for Batesville: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Unfortunately for Franklin County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Pohlman. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Pohlman saw the Wildcats), he picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Braydon Wilson Leads Rushville over South Dearborn

Rushville was led to victory by Braydon Wilson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wilson picked up 112 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
