Softball Recap: South Harrison Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Harrison's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Clay County Panthers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Panthers since April 23, 2021.

South Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Clay County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, South Harrison will square off against North Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Clay County, they will face off against Gilmer County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
