Baseball Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Cleburne Yellowjackets, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Cleburne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Seguin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cleburne, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Timberview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
