Volleyball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Brooks was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Noble & Greenough apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Noble & Greenough scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-19.

Noble & Greenough can attribute much of their success to Evie Shih, who had 15 digs and three aces. Shih has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Noble & Greenough, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Brooks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Noble & Greenough, they will head out to take on Rivers at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
