Forge Christian won the last time they faced The Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Fury came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fury.

Forge Christian got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 29-31, 25-19, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Addison Davis and Finley Queen, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Abby Nance and her 33 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Forge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for The Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forge Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Jefferson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, The Academy will face off against rival Colorado Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
