Softball Recap: Hellgate Knights vs. Russell Rustlers
Hellgate extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-5. They came up short against the Russell Rustlers, falling 15-1. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Hellgate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nat Blaney, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double. That double was Blaney's first of the season.

In other batting news, Emma McGraw was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Signe Hanson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI.
Hellgate wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Gallatin on the 18th. As for Russell, they will face off against Capital at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
