            Football Recap: Ocoee Knights vs. West Orange Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            
Ocoee had lost four straight at home, but  on Friday they dropped down to 5-4 to make it five. They fell  21-14 to the West Orange Warriors. The Knights were up  14-0 in the second  quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
 Despite the loss, Ocoee still got an impressive performance from   Michael Blackmon, who rushed for 44 yards and a pair of  scores.
As for West Orange, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The  win almost wasn't to be: they were down  14-0 in the second  quarter.
 West Orange's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Yuto Kawamura-Johnson, who picked up 41 receiving yards and one  TD, and also punched in one rushing score.
 Looking ahead, Ocoee is taking a road trip to  face off against Jones  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Fightin' Tigers have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four contests. As for West Orange, they will host Dr. Phillips  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 12.8  points per game  this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
