Williamson won against UMS-Wright Prep last Tuesday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Williamson Lions managed a 66-61 victory over the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on six straight.

Williamson is also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for UMS-Wright Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Williamson will square off against Pike Road at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Pike Road likes a good challenge. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-25 victory against Elberta on the 27th.
