Portland Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Whitefield Academy Wildcats. The Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Portland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Whitefield Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portland Christian will take on Ballard at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will host Francis Parker at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
